鞘杯墊以檳榔鞘筆記本以檳榔葉鞘製作封面與封底，保留材料原有的纖維、色澤與自然痕跡。每一片葉鞘都會因生長位置、日曬與時間留下不同的紋理，因此每一本筆記本的表面皆略有差異。

葉鞘經過整理、壓平與裁切後，與再生紙張及線圈結合。封面保留材料自然形成的觸感與彈性，線圈裝訂則讓筆記本可以較完整地攤平，適合日常書寫、記錄與繪圖使用。

從原本包覆植物生長的材料，到成為承接文字與想法的封面，鞘筆記本保留了葉鞘原有的樣貌，也讓材料進入另一段被使用的時間。

The Sheath Notebook features front and back covers made from betel nut sheath, preserving the material’s original fibers, tones, and natural markings. Each sheath carries different textures shaped by its growth, exposure to sunlight, and the passage of time, making the surface of every notebook slightly different.

After being cleaned, flattened, and cut, the sheath is combined with recycled paper and spiral binding. The covers retain the material’s natural texture and flexibility, while the spiral binding allows the notebook to open more fully for everyday writing, note-taking, and drawing.

Originally formed to protect the growth of the plant, the sheath becomes a surface for holding words and ideas. The notebook preserves the material’s original character while allowing it to enter another period of use.

葉鞘ノートブックは、表紙と裏表紙の両方にビンロウの葉鞘を使用しています。素材本来の繊維、色合い、自然な痕跡を残しており、成長する位置や日差し、時間の経過によって、一枚ごとに異なる表情があります。そのため、ノートの表面も一冊ずつわずかに異なります。

葉鞘を洗浄し、平らに整えて裁断した後、再生紙とリングで綴じています。表紙には素材本来の手触りと柔軟性が残され、リング製本によってページを開きやすく、日々の筆記、記録、スケッチなどに使うことができます。

植物の成長を包んでいた素材が、言葉や考えを受け止める表紙へと変わります。葉鞘本来の姿を残しながら、素材に新たな使用の時間を与えたノートです。
